I LOVE YOU, MAN

I LOVE YOU, MAN  (Paul Rudd, Jason Segal -- Dreamworks SKG)

I'll be honest, anything with Rudd and Segal pretty much already has my ticket money -- but this trailer had something else to it... heart.  You can already sense that Rudd will deliver the kind of sensitivity that will transcend this film from a mere bromantic comedy into another "40 Year Old Virgin" or "Knocked Up."  And it helps that Segal has the comedic gift to turn any line into something borderline creepy and completely hilarious.  He played that up to a "T" in his previous film "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."

The trailer hits the jokes hard -- though you can tell there are many more still waiting to be discovered in the actual film.  Have to say, the Burping Man belching in the middle of Rudd and Rashida Jones' romantic moment -- hilarious.  And, hopefully, that will translate to the comedy of the film.  One can bet that this film will continue to flirt with an over-the-top comedy and something with a little more sentimentality.

At any rate -- Rudd, Segal, and, the exotically adorable, Jones has my vote and my money.  I'm sold and I'm in.
